How do I contact a “live” person for registration help and information?

The Registration Department is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What is the price of admission?
Admission prices vary. For information, refer to the Registration page. If you require additional information or have any questions, please contact us at 1 866 848-7177, ext. 221, or by email.
When can I register to attend the MIGS?
Registration for the conference is now open. Register here.
I registered for MIGS on-line. How do I get a receipt and confirmation?
- By credit card, you should have received an email receipt immediately after registering.
- By cheque, your registration will only be processed upon receipt of payment. Your receipt will then be sent to you by email.
Are IGDA members entitled to a discount?
If yes, how much is the discount? Yes, IGDA member are entitled to a 10% discount, amounting to approximately $30 to $40.
Are any other discounts available?
Yes. Members of Alliance numérique are entitled to a 20% discount, amounting to approximately $50 to $70. Members of ACM SIGGRAPH Montreal and TIGA receive a 10% discount of $30 to $40.
Is there a discount for students? If yes, how much is the discount?
Yes, students receive a special 60% discount.
I don’t want to register online. How else can I register?
You can pay by check. The MIGS address and fax number are posted on the Contact Us page.
When and how do I receive my badge?
You will receive your badge the morning of the event.
I registered and now need to make changes to my registration. How should I proceed?
You can contact the Reservations Service by phone at 514 848-7177, ext. 221, or toll free 1 866 848-7177, ext. 221.
What is the address of the Palais des congrès? Where can I find a map? Is it easy to get to the Palais? Which entrance should I use?
The Palais des congrès is located in Old Montreal. It has a number of entrances, and signs pointing to the MIGS reception area will be clearly posted at all entrances. See location of entrances.
Can I register at the Palais des congrès?
Yes. You can register on Tuesday morning once the Registration Desk opens at 7:30 a.m.
How do I register a group?
You have two options. You can simply register online and pay by credit card via our secure site, then enter the names of your employees on the form. You may also send your application by mail with your cheque.
Can I register for a single day or only a few seesion at a reduced fee?
No, you have to register for the two days of the Summit.

When will registration be open?
The MIGS registration desk will be open as of 7:30 a.m.
At what time will the tutorials, sessions and exhibition get underway?
They will get underway at 8:30 a.m.
At what time will the exhibition close?
The exhibition will close at 6 p.m. on the first day and at 4 p.m. on the second.
About the Program When will the full conference curriculum for MIGS 2007 be announced?
The complete program will be posted on the website as of October 1st. You can also receive all the latest information about the Summit by signing up for the MIGS newsletter.
Does registration give me access to all events?
Yes, with the exception of the Business Lounge and the VIP cocktail.
Travel and Hotels
How do I reserve a hotel room for MIGS?
To reserve a hotel room, go to the Hotel page for a list of hotels with which MIGS has negotiated special rates.
Are special rates available?
Yes, all the hotels listed on the MIGS site offer special rates for Summit participants. Simply mention the MIGS when making reservations. Discover the hotels.
Are the hotels far from the Palais des congrès?
All listed hotels are in the immediate vicinity of the Palais des congrès.
Is the airport far from the Palais des congrès and the hotels?
The Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi from downtown Montreal, the Palais des congrès (where the MIGS is being held), and the hotels with which the Summit has an agreement.

Can I bring my children?
There will be not onsite childcare services at this event. Moreover, due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 18 will be allowed access to the Summit.
Why can’t I open the registration page from this site?
The Registration page is secure and cannot be accessed if your security parameters are too restrictive. If you are unable to register online, please contact us.

Wireless Internet access will be available in all Summit rooms.
What is the Business Lounge?
The Business Lounge is a zone reserved for business meetings. It is intended as a friendly and discreet location where developers and service firms can enjoy refreshments and meet with publishers through a meeting service tailored to their needs.

In what language will the conferences and training sessions be given?
All conferences and training sessions will be given in English, with translation services available in a few rooms.
Can I replace someone, who is unable to attend the event?
Yes, absolutely, but please be sure to verify that the person is in fact unable to attend. We also ask you to notify the Reservations Service, as we need to have the right name on our lists to allow access.
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept only MasterCard and Visa.
Are student discounts available?
Yes, students are entitled to a special 60% discount. Simply follow the instructions provided for students on the Registration page.
